Talent and creativity play a crucial role at BergHOFF. Our in-house design team makes it their mission to create smart-looking cookware and tableware that’s within reach for all. Working with an in-house design team enables us to stay on top of the total development and manufacturing process of  all our products for kitchen and table. We also work with renowned designers for their extensive knowledge in specific materials or disciplines.

Frederik Aerts
Frederik Aerts leads the design department at BergHOFF. He’s a versatile Belgian design talent praised by numerous international design juries. His profound technical knowledge strengthened with a feeling for shape, allows him to use his creativity to the fullest. He’s involved in the creation of his products from initial sketch to final production stage, and even beyond, which guarantees unique products with high quality. His designs are characterised by an intense innovative approach in the field of form and function. In 2009 voted as one of the 40 best designers under 40. Other distinctions were the Design Preis Deutschland, the Henry van de Velde Awards, the I.F. Product Design Award, the Good Design Award and the Red Dot Award.


 
Raf Vanthoor

Ilse Raymaekers
Belgian designers whose devotion to the trade is materialized in many designs. Typically her objects have a playful character with a dreamy touch. They catch the eye with their quality and timeless class.




Leen Lisens
Belgian designer who was partly educated in Paris. In her designs she opts for an honest language. The thoughtful use of materials and emphasis on details result in timeless products. Her Cubo knives block, being a perfect example of her approach, received a Red Dot honourable mention.




Ralph Kramer
Founded in 1983 his Buro für Gestaltung, focussing mainly on household items, flatware and tableware. 




Jonathan Smith
Jonathan Smith is a designer of porcelain. But for us, he used his talents on cookware, cutlery and utensils too.




Pieter Stockmans
Being active in the ceramics industry for several decades, Pieter Stockmans was very excited to work with BergHOFF. We offered him the chance to unleash his talents in a different trade than he’s specialised in. He utilised his skills and insight on developing cookware sets, kitchen utensils, knives and flatware. Of course, he also made a range of plates, dishes, cups in china, carrying that typical Pieter Stockmans signature.

The numerous design awards and the presence of his work in museums and exhibitions are proof of his international importance.
