BergHOFF Worldwide, manufacturer of high quality kitchenware at affordable prices, completes its award-winning Neo line with a chopping board made of bamboo. Thanks to a rapid growth, bamboo is the top candidate to replace wood. With the design of the Neo chopping board, BergHOFF takes a renewable resource to the highest design level. At the international trade show Maison et Objet in Paris, the design won the Table&Cadeau Grand Prix 2010 in the category kitchen accessories.
Heusden-Zolder, September 2010 – For the Neo chopping board, in-house designer Frederik Aerts opted for bamboo for its multiple qualities: eco-friendly, durable, hygienic and pleasing for the eye. The unique shape with the conical edges takes this chopping board to a higher level. Not just in design terms but also in terms of function: the conical edges allow hassle-free transfer of the cut or chopped ingredients onto a plate or tray. The double-sided board offers safe and good grip on your table or counter top for secure
cutting, slicing, dicing and other cutting tasks while the bamboo doesn’t blunt the knives. At the recently held Parisian fair Maison et Objet, the Neo cutting board was granted the Table&Cadeau Grand Prix 2010 in
the kitchen accessories category.
